As Senior State Government Affairs Manager, you will lead state government affairs across assigned states and influence legislative outcomes impacting CoreWeave’s ability to grow and operate. You will build trusted relationships with state executives, policymakers, and staff. Reporting to the Director of State Government Affairs, the Senior Manager will help shape CoreWeave’s state government affairs strategy and advance policy initiatives that support the company’s expansion and growth.
You’ll work closely with governors’ offices, state legislators, economic development agencies, in-state consultants, trade associations, and advocacy groups to advance CoreWeave’s objectives at the state level. This role combines deep policy analysis, relationship building, and strategic execution, with a focus on expanding CoreWeave’s data center footprint growth and supporting economic development through AI innovation.
You’ll represent CoreWeave before state lawmakers and other key stakeholders, execute on our government affairs priorities, and help shape the policy environment in markets where we operate and seek to grow. This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially minded professional who thrives in building coalitions, identifying opportunities, and translating policy analysis into business outcomes.

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $163,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
